Christopher Brooks was a rising folk musician when he approached me about his need for an album design.  After getting a feel for his music style and overall message, I created a design that conveyed the same raw and troubled emotions found in this lyrics.  I started with the photography, which I thoughtfully staged and edited to fit the mood of his album, and then overlayed it with minimal, clean typography so as not to distract from the imagery.
